Today's Prayer: Evening's Sacred Steps

In rooms now quiet as day slips away,

I pause for a moment, in silence to pray,

Each light that I dim, each door that I check,

Becomes its own blessing, a love to protect.

Through hallways and doorways my footsteps now cease,

As sleep settles softly, bringing God's peace,

This home holds such treasure, these souls in my care,

Wrapped safe in Your kindness, held close in this prayer.

Watch over us Father, as night turns to dawn,
