Today's Prayer: Grace in the Waiting

In this pause between moments, this gift of still time,

As cars slowly inch forward, forming their line,

I find in this waiting a chance to be still,

And listen for whispers of Your loving will.

The world rushes forward in endless parade,

But here in this moment, sweet peace You have made,

These minutes of waiting become sacred space,
