Today's Prayer: A Lullaby for Weary Hearts

When evening finds me barely awake,

And perfect prayers I cannot make,

My tired sighs and heavy eyes,

Become my heart's sweet sacrifice.

You gather up each drowsy word,

Like precious gems still seen and heard,

Your love holds me in gentle space,

Where weary hearts can rest in grace.

Sweet Jesus, hear my tired prayer,
