Weekend Housework, Hidden Joy ❤️

Finding God in the dusty corners! ✨

Scripture For Today: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord."

Colossians 3:23

God sees us in the small jobs that keep our homes going.

Dust hides in corners.

Dishes pile high.

Toys want to live on the floor.

Maybe you feel bad when house work takes over prayer time.

Today we honor St. Vincent Ferrer,

Who taught that we can find God in our daily work, not just in church or quiet prayer.

Your mop and broom are holy tools.

Each clean dish is a small prayer.

Today's Prayer: Sacred Chores

As I pick up toys and clothes,

And wipe down what no one knows,

Turn my work into a prayer,

Show me that You're always there.

In the tasks that fill my day,

Let me find a time to pray,

Not just words but with my hands,

Loving all as You had planned.

My work becomes a song to You,

In all the simple things I do.

Amen.

May St. Vincent's wise heart remind you today—

Clean floors can be a form of love.

God walks with you room by room.

A Blessed Surprise in the Making!

Something special is coming to bring peace to your prayer moments.

(Yes, that’s it in Grand Central Station in New York City.)

Even on busy cleaning days,

Each small job you do for your family is seen by God as an act of love.

Blessings,

Two Minute Prayers Team
