Jesus, the words get stuck inside my throat,
When truth seems like a sinking boat.
I know what's right but fear to say,
What if they turn and walk away?
Give me strength to speak what's true,
Even when it's hard to do.
Let my voice become Your own,
Help me stand though I'm alone.
When the moment comes again,
Make me bold beyond my pain.
Amen.
