Thunder Rolls, Voice Cracks ❤️

God hears you when you're loud! ✨

Scripture For Today: "He took Peter, James and John along with him, and he began to be deeply distressed and troubled."

Mark 14:33

You raised your voice at someone you love today.

Your words came out sharper than you meant.

Now the house feels quiet and heavy.

Maybe you worry you're becoming the kind of person you swore you'd never be.

You wonder if your loved ones will remember you as angry.

It's hard when your emotions feel too big for your body.

Saint James was called a "Son of Thunder" because he had a quick temper.

He left his fishing nets to follow Jesus right away, but he still struggled with his fierce nature.

God knows your fire isn't all bad.

He can use your passion for good.

Today's Prayer: When My Voice Gets Loud

Jesus, I lost my temper once again,

My words came out like lightning and then rain.

I see the look upon my children's face,

I wish I could take back what can't erase.

Help me channel all this fire inside,

Let gentleness and strength walk side by side.

Like James, I'm learning how to follow You,

Make something beautiful from what I do.

Transform my thunder into something sweet,

Make my love complete.

Amen.

Something powerful is brewing!

Our prayer candle doesn't just set the mood - it sets children free from vitamin A deficiency.

Clench your fists tight, then slowly open them.

Watch your fingers uncurl.

This is how God works in you.

May Saint James's fierce love remind you today—

Your passion can be holy.

God is shaping your fire.
