Scripture For Today: "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."
God understands when we wait for texts that don't come back.
The simple "where are you?" sits unread.
The blue check marks that show they saw it.
The quiet that makes your stomach tight.
Maybe you worry when your teen doesn't answer texts and your mind thinks the worst.
Today we honor St. Pedro de San José Betancur, who kept reaching out to lost youth.
He never gave up on those who seemed to ignore his help.
Your worry shows your love is real.
God watches your kids when you can't.
Today's Prayer: Silent Phone
When my texts go without reply,
And my heart begins to fly,
Help me trust that You still see,
My teen where they're meant to be.
As I wait and watch the screen,
Let me trust You're in between,
Give me peace though phones stay still,
Keep my child in Your strong will.
While I wait for their reply,
Your love holds them more than I.
Amen.
