God can bring them back home! ✨
Scripture For Today: "I will give you a new spirit, and I will take out your stony spirit and give you a tender, responsive spirit."
Your grown children don't go to church anymore.
Your grandkids have never learned to pray before dinner.
You watch them live like faith doesn't matter at all.
Maybe you wonder if all those years of Sunday school were wasted.
You question whether God still hears your prayers for their wandering souls.
The values you taught them seem forgotten and left behind.
Saint Augustine lived wild for thirty years while his mother Monica wept.
He mocked the faith, lived in sin, and broke his mother's loving spirit.
But God's love is bigger than any rebellion.
Your teaching planted seeds that can still grow.
Today's Prayer: Bring Them Home
Jesus, they've walked away from all I taught,
The Sunday morals seem to come to naught.
My grandkids don't know how to fold their hands,
They've never heard about Your loving plans.
But You can reach where I cannot go,
And touch the places they won't let me know.
Stir up the faith I planted long ago,
Help those small seeds begin to grow.
Bring them back to their first love,
Let them feel You from above.
Amen.
