Better late than never! ✨
Scripture For Today: "The Lord is patient toward you."
You're running behind again today.
Everything feels a step too slow.
Maybe you forgot to reply to that email and now you feel bad about making someone wait.
You worry they're upset with you.
It's frustrating.
Today we honor Saint Cedd.
He started his work of building churches and teaching people late in life, but he never let that stop him.
He knew that starting is more important than being on time.
God doesn't check His watch.
What matters is that you showed up.
Today's Prayer: When I'm Running Late
Lord, I'm behind on everything today,
The clock keeps ticking, slipping away.
I meant to do it sooner, I really tried,
Now I feel embarrassed deep inside.
Help me remember You don't keep score,
Late doesn't mean less, just means more
Grace for myself when I fall behind,
Peace in my heart and ease in my mind.
Better to start late than not at all,
You catch me every time I fall.
