Psalm 46:10

Your coffee is still hot.

The house is finally quiet.

Just you and this moment.

Maybe you've been rushing through prayers lately.

Perhaps you forgot how peaceful silence can be.

Your heart slows down when you stop moving.

Sometimes the best prayer has no words.

Today we honor Saint Robert of Newminster.

He was a busy abbot who built monasteries and guided many people.

But he always made time for quiet prayer with God.

God loves your ordinary moments.

Silence is where hearts connect.

Today's Prayer: In the Quiet

In this quiet morning space,

I simply rest in Your embrace.

No big words or fancy prayer,

Just knowing that You're always there.

Help me find these moments still,

When life gets loud against my will.

In the rush of busy days,

Let me pause and seek Your face.

Thank You for this simple time,

When Your peace and my heart rhyme.

Amen.
