Today we honor Saint Rose Philippine Duchesne.
She dreamed of teaching Native Americans since she was a little girl, but she had to wait until she was 72 years old to finally do it.
The Potawatomi children called her "Woman Who Prays Always" because she spent so much time on her knees.
God doesn't forget the dreams He planted in your heart.
It's never too late to trust Him with them.
Today's Prayer: For Forgotten Dreams
Lord, I had dreams once that slipped away,
Life got so busy every single day.
I wonder if it's foolish now to care,
About the hopes I thought You'd planted there.
Help me trust Your timing is not mine,
That waiting doesn't mean You're not divine.
Maybe dreams aren't over, just on hold,
Until my heart is ready and more bold.
Thank You for the patience that You show,
For tending dreams I thought I'd had to throw.
