I tried something new today, Lord,
And watched my family gather 'round.
Their happy faces, thankful words,
Made such a sweet and joyful sound.
Thank You for this simple way,
To show my love through what I make.
Help me remember on hard days,
That trying matters for their sake.
In every meal and every try,
You bless the love that I supply.
