2 Corinthians 5:17

The holiday is over and your house looks like a storm hit it.

Dishes are piled up and you don't know where to start.

You feel tired and a little sad that the fun is done.

Maybe you worry you didn't enjoy it enough when it was happening.

You wonder if you'll ever catch up on everything that needs to be done.

It's okay to feel worn out after trying so hard.

Saint Anthony Mary Zaccaria loved to help people start fresh.

He started new groups and helped the Church begin again in better ways.

God loves new beginnings.

Today is a chance to start over.

Today's Prayer: When I Need a Fresh Start

Jesus, yesterday is gone and I feel so tired,

My house is a mess and I feel uninspired.

I tried so hard to make things right,

Now I'm facing this morning light.

Help me see this day as new,

A chance to start fresh with You.

Give me strength to clean and care,

And know that You are always there.

Make me new from the inside out,

Fill my heart and take my doubt.

Amen.
