Some days our prayer time gets lost in the rush of life.
The alarm didn't go off.
Kids needed extra help.
Work emails came in early.
Maybe you feel bad when you meant to pray but the day just got away from you.
Today we honor St. Fulbert of Chartres,
Who taught that God sees our hearts even when our prayers aren't perfect.
Your busy heart is still loved.
Even quick prayers reach God's ears.
Today's Prayer: Grace for Today
When my prayers get lost in haste,
And my good plans go to waste,
Help me see Your love stays true,
Even when my words are few.
In the rush of mom-filled days,
When I find such little space,
Let my heart still turn to You,
In the small things that I do.
Even sighs You hear as prayer,
When I show You that I care.
Amen.
