Scripture For Today: "Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy."
Divine Mercy Sunday calls us to open our hearts like God does.
The hurt we hold tight.
The grudge we won't let go.
The love that waits to heal.
Maybe you worry about teaching your kids to forgive when it's so hard for you too.
Today is Divine Mercy Sunday, when we think of God's huge love that forgives all.
St. Zita showed mercy to those who made fun of her poor family.
Your small acts of mercy are seen.
Forgiveness makes more room for love.
Today's Prayer: Mercy Heart
On this day of mercy sweet,
Help my heart to feel complete,
Show me how to let things go,
So more love in me can grow.
When I struggle to forgive,
Show me how You want me to live,
Let Your mercy fill my soul,
Make my broken heart feel whole.
Mercy given, mercy shared,
Shows the world how much You cared.
