Light in the Darkest Moments ❤️

A cozy 2-minute prayer for weary hearts (with St. Lucy!) ✨

Some days feel like a tangle of Christmas lights - complicated, dim, and hard to untangle.

Today, we remember St. Lucy, a young woman who brought light when everything seemed dark.

Her courage whispers to us: even the smallest flame can push back shadows, just like how a kind word can brighten a tough day.

Today's Prayer: Lanterns of Hope

When darkness feels heavy and hope seems so small,

And worries come pressing against every wall,

Remember the light that can flicker so bright,

A spark of compassion can conquer the night.

Our hands might feel weary, our spirits seem low,

But love is the candle that continues to glow,

God's mercy surrounds us with tenderness true,

A light that keeps burning, creating something new.

Gentle Jesus, illuminate near,

Shine hope in the moments we struggle and fear.

Amen.

Scripture for Today: Matthew 5:16 - "Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father."

May the brave spirit of St. Lucy remind you that your smallest acts of love are powerful light in this world.

Blessings,
