They barely looked up from their phone to say thanks.
You wonder why you even try so hard when nobody seems to notice.
Maybe you feel like all your effort goes completely unappreciated.
You question whether pouring yourself out is worth the empty return.
Your giving feels like shouting into a canyon with no echo back.
Saint Jerome spent thirty years translating the entire Bible into Latin.
Many people criticized his hard work and questioned why he bothered.
God sees every ounce of love you pour out.
Your effort matters even when others don't respond.
Today's Prayer: When Nobody Notices
Jesus, I gave my best but no one seemed to care,
My loving actions vanished in the air.
I wonder if my effort's all in vain,
When kindness just brings me more pain.
Help me give without expecting praise,
To serve You through these trying days.
Let me find my worth in Your eyes alone,
Not in the thanks I'm rarely shown.
When no one sees what I have done,
Remind me You're the grateful One.
