Time moves so slow in waiting rooms.

Each tick of the clock seems to ask if you still trust God's plan.

Maybe the pain in your side has you more scared than you want to say out loud.

When test results draw near,

Hold my hand and calm my heart,

Through each test and scan and wait,

Help me trust and not lose faith,

Let me feel Your peace so true,

As I place my trust in You.

Lord of health and pain and all,

Catch me if my faith should fall.

Amen.
