Holiday Chaos, Tired Hands ❤️
Peace in the middle of it all! ✨
Scripture For Today: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
The Fourth of July is here, but you feel more tired than excited.
You've been planning and shopping and cleaning for days.
Everyone expects you to have it all together.
Maybe you worry the potato salad won't be ready in time.
You wonder if you're doing enough to make good memories for your family.
We see you trying so hard to make everyone happy.
Saint Elizabeth was a queen who served big feasts for many people.
She made sure everyone had what they needed, even when she felt worn out.
God sees how much you give.
Your love matters more than perfect plans.
Today's Prayer: When Holidays Feel Hard
Jesus, this day should bring me joy,
But I'm tired from every girl and boy.
I've planned and cooked and cleaned all week,
Now I just want some rest to seek.
Help me find Your peace right here,
In the middle of all I fear.
Let me see the love I share,
And know that You are always there.
Give me strength to enjoy today,
Help my worries melt away.
Amen.
