You know what the right thing to do is, but it's not easy.

Your heart feels heavy when you think about it.

Everyone else seems to take the easy way out.

Maybe you worry about what others will think of your choice.

You wonder if being good is worth it when life gets so hard.

Yes, doing right when it costs you something is never simple.

Saint Maria was only eleven when she chose to do what was right.

She knew it would hurt her, but she trusted God more than her fear.

God sees your brave heart.

Your good choices matter to Him.

Today's Prayer: When Right Feels Hard

Jesus, I know what I should do,

But it's so hard to follow through.

My heart feels scared, my hands shake,

Help me do this for Your sake.

Give me strength to choose what's right,

Even when it brings me fright.

Like Maria, help me be brave,

Show me the peace that goodness gave.

I trust You'll help me stand,

Hold my heart in Your hand.

Amen.
