On this day of grief and pain,
When our hearts feel such deep strain,
Help us see Your love so true,
In all that You went through.
As we try to tell our kids,
Of the love the cross now gives,
Give us words both true and clear,
Help them know You're always near.
Thank You for Your gift so great,
That makes heaven our true fate.
Amen.
