Freedom comes in surprising ways! ✨
Scripture For Today: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
You have everything people think should make you happy.
But inside you feel trapped by others' expectations and demands.
The life everyone envies feels like a beautiful prison you can't escape.
Maybe you dream of walking away from it all to find something real.
You wonder what would happen if you chose your own path instead.
Sometimes the cage is made of gold but it's still a cage.
Saint Cloud was a prince who could have ruled a kingdom.
Instead he cut his royal hair and chose a simple life serving God and the poor.
True freedom isn't about having everything.
It's about choosing what feeds your soul.
Today's Prayer: When I Feel Trapped
Jesus, this life looks perfect from outside,
But inside I feel like I need to hide.
The golden chains still hold me tight,
I long to step into Your light.
Give me courage to choose what's true,
Even if it means starting new.
Help me find the narrow gate,
Where my real life can't wait.
Show me what true freedom means,
Beyond these fancy, empty scenes.
Amen.
