Today's Prayer: Quiet Moments of Waiting

When Christmas feels so close and near,

And busy moments bring us fear,

We take a breath and softly pray,

And feel God's peace begin to sway.

Our hands that wrap and hearts that care,

Can find a moment sweet and rare,

Between the shopping and the strain,

We let God's quiet love sustain.

Dear God, we rest in you,
