The angry words behind your back.
The group chat you weren't in.
Maybe you worry about teaching your kids how to handle friend hurts when your own heart is bruised too.
Today is Holy Wednesday, when we remember Judas planning to betray Jesus.
Showing us that even when deeply hurt, Jesus still loved with an open heart.
Your hurt is seen and held by God.
Broken trust can still lead to healing.
Today's Prayer: Healing Hurts
When friends wound with words unkind,
Leaving scars upon my mind,
Hold my heart in Your sweet care,
Show me that You're always there.
Give me strength to love once more,
Though my trust feels bruised and sore,
Help my kids through their hurts too,
Teach them hearts can start anew.
In the pain of broken trust,
Your love heals when mine just can't.
