Family Betrayal, Bleeding Trust ❤️

God heals the deepest wounds! ✨

Scripture For Today: "Even my close friend, someone I trusted, one who shared my bread, has turned against me."

Psalm 41:9

The person who hurt you most was someone you thought would always protect you.

It wasn't a stranger who broke your spirit - it was family.

The betrayal cuts deeper because you never saw it coming from them.

Maybe you wonder if you can ever trust anyone completely again.

You replay their words and actions, trying to understand how they could do this.

The wound feels fresh every time you think about what they took from you.

Saint Wenceslaus was murdered by his own brother who was jealous of his goodness.

The person closest to him became the one who ended his life.

God knows the special pain of family betrayal.

He can heal wounds that seem too deep to ever close.

Today's Prayer: When Family Hurts

Jesus, the one who was supposed to love me most,

Has left me feeling like a broken ghost.

This wasn't how our story was supposed to go,

But now I'm drowning in this undertow.

Help me forgive what seems impossible to forgive,

And teach me how to trust and love and live.

Heal this wound that cuts so very deep,

And give my broken soul some peaceful sleep.

Show me that love is still worth the risk,

Even when betrayal leaves me in this mist.

Amen.

Put your hand on the place where betrayal lives in your body.

Feel how tightly you've been holding this pain.

Let God begin to loosen that grip today.

May Saint Wenceslaus's mercy toward his brother remind you today—

Even family wounds can become places where God's light shines through.

Your broken trust can be rebuilt stronger than before.
