Doorbell Rings, Heart Opens ❤️
Every visitor is Jesus! ✨
Scripture For Today: "When you did it for them, you did it for Me."
The doorbell rang while you were making dinner.
Your hands were covered in flour but you answered anyway and gave candy to the kids.
Maybe you've been trying to see God in the little moments that interrupt your day.
Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness are the biggest prayers.
Today we honor Saint Alphonsus Rodriguez.
For 46 years, he opened the door at a school and greeted every single person as if they were Jesus Himself.
He would say "I'm coming, Lord!" every time the bell rang.
God sees your interrupted plans.
Your kindness counts as worship.
Today's Prayer: When The Doorbell Rings
Lord, help me see You in the people who knock,
In the neighbor, the mailman, the kids on my block.
When my plans get interrupted and I feel stressed,
Remind me that serving others is how I'm blessed.
Let me greet everyone with a welcoming smile,
And treat each person like they're worth my while.
You come to my door in so many ways,
In friends and strangers throughout my days.
Help me answer with love and not with a sigh,
To see Your face in each passerby.
Amen
🕯️ For Every Time You Answer The Door 🕯️
A reminder that small acts of service matter to God.
Your purchase helps one child get vitamin A for a year.
Next time your doorbell rings, pause.
Take a breath before you open it.
Jesus might be standing there.
Tonight, as trick-or-treaters come, remember you're serving Jesus in costume.
With you in this,
The Two Minute Prayers Team
