Doctor Visit, Worried Mind ❤️
Waiting too long for results? ✨
Scripture For Today: Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
The nurse said they'd call with the test results.
That was three days ago.
Your phone sits silent.
Maybe you keep checking for missed calls.
Perhaps you wonder if no news is good news.
Your mind keeps making up scary stories.
It's hard when waiting feels like forever.
Today we honor Blessed Margaret Pole.
She waited months in prison not knowing her fate, trusting God even when afraid.
She found peace in the unknown.
God holds your future in His hands.
Worry can't change what's already decided.
Today's Prayer: Waiting for News
The phone won't ring, my mind won't rest,
I'm scared about this medical test.
What if it's bad, what if it's not?
My heart feels tied up in a knot.
Help me trust You with what's to come,
When worry makes my whole mind numb.
Hold my future in Your care,
And help me breathe this anxious air.
What will be, will be Your will,
Help my racing heart be still.
Amen.
