God made us for more than just work and care.

Today's Prayer: Creative Rest
As my hands find time to make,
And my mind gets space to wake,
Let me see this rest as good,
As a gift well earned and should.
Free my heart from guilt's tight hold,
Help me see the truth so bold:
That my joy makes me more me,
Just the way
You meant to be.
Lord who formed both work and rest,
Help me see both as my best.
Amen.
