Deuteronomy 31:6

Some days, faith feels easy.

St. Paul Miki knew what it meant to hold onto faith in hard times.

As a priest in Japan, he was arrested for sharing God's word.

Even in prison, even on the day of his death,

He spoke with courage and love, trusting God was with him.

His story reminds us—faith is not about having no fear.

It’s about knowing God walks with us through it.

Lord, some days faith feels hard to hold,

When worries rise and doubt takes hold.

But You are near, You light my way,

Through every step, through night and day.

I will not fear, I trust in You,

My strength, my shield, my heart stays true.

No matter what this day may bring,

You go with me—my faithful King.

Amen.
