Class Mom, Shy Step ❤️
When test results test our trust! ✨
Scripture For Today: "I can do all things through him who strengthens me."
The teacher's email asks for volunteers, and your finger hovers over reply.
You've never been "that mom" who runs the class parties or leads the field trips.
Perhaps you worry if you can do it well with your shy nature and busy life.
Just like your hesitation, St. Catherine of Bologna stepped forward with trembling to teach young girls despite her natural quiet ways.
Your small yes matters.
Quiet moms make brave leaders.
Today's Prayer: School Courage
As I click that "yes" with care,
Though my heart feels doubt right there,
Give me strength to step out new,
In this work I'm called to do.
Let me see my gifts shine bright,
Even with my shyness tight,
Help these kids feel love and joy,
Through the skills that I employ.
Lord who calls the shy to serve,
Give me strength and calm my nerves.
Amen.
