Lord, I pray for those who've gone before,
The ones I'll love forevermore.
My mom, my dad, my friend, my kin,
Please bring them closer, welcome them in.
If they're still waiting to see Your face,
Cover them with Your loving grace.
Let my prayers help them along their way,
Bring them home to heaven today.
Until we meet on that bright shore,
Hold them safe forevermore.
