Scripture For Today: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart."
Everything fell apart today.
The plan you made isn't working anymore.
Maybe you lost your job and now you're scared about how you'll pay the bills next month.
You don't know what comes next.
It's terrifying.
Today we honor Saint Frumentius.
His boat was destroyed in a terrible storm and he ended up as a prisoner in a strange land.
But God used that broken plan to make him the first bishop of Ethiopia.
God can use your broken plans.
Sometimes storms lead somewhere beautiful.
Today's Prayer: When Plans Fall Apart
Lord, everything I planned is falling down,
I feel like I'm going to drown.
I'm scared about what happens next,
My heart is worried and perplexed.
Help me trust You with the unknown,
I can't walk this path alone.
Show me that You have a plan,
Even when I don't understand.
Turn my shipwreck into something new,
Help me keep believing in You.
