Scripture For Today: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Matthew 11:28

You sit with your book open but can't focus on the words.

Everyone else seems to understand what the author meant.

You wonder if you sound smart enough when you talk.

Maybe you worry you're not keeping up with the other moms.

You feel like you should know more than you do.

It's hard when learning feels like one more thing you're failing at.

Saint Bonaventure wrote many books and taught other people.

He was called the "Seraphic Doctor" because he was so wise, but he started as a student too.

God loves your curious heart.

You don't have to be perfect to grow.

Today's Prayer: When I Feel Behind

Jesus, I opened this book to learn,

But my mind feels like it can't turn.

Others seem to get it right away,

I feel so lost, what can I say?

Help me know it's okay to be slow,

Not everyone learns the same, I know.

Give me peace when I don't understand,

And help me trust You have a plan.

I'm trying my best today,

Guide me on this learning way.

Amen.
