Today's Prayer: Cutting Away

Lord, give me Boniface's brave heart,

To cut away what tears apart.

Help me swing the axe today,

On things that lead my soul astray.

When fear tells me to wait and see,

Help me trust You're here with me.

Give me strength to make the cut,

And keep the door of courage shut.

Build something good from what I break,

For my soul and family's sake.

Amen.
